What is Surf Easy Cashier?

Surf Easy Cashier is a software program created specifically for managing internet cafes.  It is a free application that you can request with any purchase of 2 or more copies of Surf Easy Desktop Edition, which is the client or user terminal edition of our software.

Surf Easy Cashier allows you to manage and control the user terminals in your internet cafe, with a simple-to-use interface that also has an inbuilt Point of Sale system for advanced cash-register functionality.

While the Surf Easy user terminals can run on their own, this Cashier Edition of our software allows you manage terminals which are linked on a Local Area Network (LAN), or even to manage remote terminals over the internet using static IP addresses.

What can I do with Surf Easy Cashier?

By using our Surf Easy Cashier software on an additional PC you essentially create a payment terminal, allowing you to manually receive and process payments from your users.  Surf Easy Cashier serves two main purposes: 1) to manage your internet cafe, and 2) to process payments and issue users with credit.

From the Cashier Terminal you can monitor each terminal, review the status of each terminal, and boot a user from a terminal in case you want to end their session early.  The software also allows users to request help directly through the system from their terminal.

 In detail, the software allows you to:

• accept payments from customers

• monitor user terminals, customers, time remaining, balance due, etc

• issue credit codes

• control pricing

• receive 'requests for help' from user terminals

• sell other menu items, products and services

• issue receipts and tax invoices

• track and record sales, payments, and discounts

Surf Easy Cashier is ideal for internet cafes wanting to manually process payments from customers in either pre-pay mode (purchase time before use) or post-pay mode (pay for time after use).

Cash Register and Point of Sale System

The Cashier Terminal also includes Point of Sale (or POS) cash register functionality, meaning that you use the terminal as a complete cash register for taking payments for food & beverages, and other products & services.  It can work with a touch screen display, cash drawers, receipt printers and bar-code readers.

Pre-pay at Surf Easy Cashier

Customers enter your business, approach your cashier, purchase an amount of time, and make their payment.  The system then automatically generates a credit code which the user then takes to any user terminal.

The user can "top-up" their credit during their session.  The software allows the user to pause their session while they go to the cashier to purchase additional time.  Print billing is fully automatic - it deducts the printing charges from their remaining time.

Post-pay at a Surf Easy Cashier

Customers enter your business and can immediately begin using any internet terminal by pressing the "Start" button (or alternatively you can also lock and unlock terminals for users).  The time counts up, and a bill is automatically generated on the Cashier Terminal.  Any printing is also added to the user's bill.  When the user is finished they simply end their session, and proceed to your cashier to pay their bill.
