Hardware Manuals
Our broadband internet connections
are compatible with almost all ADSL modems. We can supply a
standard or
wireless modem
with your new connection, which we will ship to you fully configured
with your account details and ready to plug in. We recommend using
a modem that has an inbuilt router with multiple ethernet ports.

Basic Fault Correction
There are a few quick checks you should make if you experience problems
with your internet access:
-
Ensure the modem is powered,
either by ensuring the modem is plugged into the USB or Ethernet port
of your computer or the power pack is plugged into a working power
socket.
-
Ensure the telephone line which
ADSL was enabled on, is plugged into the modem
-
Ensure there are no In-Line
filters or micro-filters installed between the phone socket and the
ADSL modem.
-
If the modem's ‘Sync' light is not
lit after making these checks then please contact Arinda Internet
Support on 1300 882 780.
-
Ensure you can access your modem's
configuration and settings screens.
-
Ensure your username and password
are entered correctly (remember that they are case sensitive).
-
Check your account details and
settings again the Arinda Internet settings which were sent you when
you were first connected.
Faults on your telephone line are
usually due to having incorrectly placed In-Line micro-filters. Please
ensure that the micro-filters are installed between all telephone
devices sharing the telephone line and their sockets except for the
ADSL modem. |
